These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Upright Wellbeing website and our mental health coaching services. By accessing our site or booking a session, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Nature of Coaching Services (Disclaimer)
Upright Wellbeing provides mental health and wellbeing coaching. Coaching is not clinical therapy, psychology, psychiatry, or medical treatment. Our services do not diagnose, treat, or cure mental health conditions or illnesses. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact your local emergency services or Lifeline (13 11 14). By engaging our services, you acknowledge that coaching is a collaborative, forward-focused process and that you are fully responsible for your own wellbeing, decisions, and actions.
2. Bookings, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Your time and our time are valuable. We operate on a strictly scheduled basis.
- Cancellations: If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, we require a minimum of [24/48] hours' notice.
- Late Cancellations/No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than [24/48] hours' notice or failure to attend a scheduled session may incur a fee of up to 100% of the session cost.
3. Confidentiality
All interactions, coaching sessions, and records are kept strictly confidential. The only exceptions to this confidentiality are if we believe there is an imminent risk of serious harm to yourself or someone else, or if we are subpoenaed or otherwise required by Australian law to release information.
4. Payments
Payment for coaching sessions or packages must be made in full prior to the session, unless an alternative payment plan has been explicitly agreed upon in writing. All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise indicated, the website is our proprietary property. All website design, text, graphics, and resources provided during coaching sessions are owned by or licensed to Upright Wellbeing. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our materials without explicit permission.
6. Governing Law
